Lesotho and South African musical powerhouses Phoka Ea Boroa and Sannere join forces to deliver a soulful Sesotho masterpiece with their collaborative project, MAKUKUNO A PELO.

The 6-track EP is a “pure human” exploration of deep emotions, culture, and the “Tshepe” (Lesotho Hip-Hop) sound that has taken the region by storm.

MAKUKUNO A PELO is a profound cultural statement that showcases the undeniable chemistry between Phoka Ea Boroa and Sannere.

Lyrically, the project moves away from generic club themes to address “pure human” experiences touching on grief, resilience, and the spiritual journey of the Sesotho people.

The EP features a significant posthumous appearance by the late Malome Vector on the track “Batlohelleng,” adding a layer of bittersweet nostalgia to the project.
